But I am totally in love with this creamy eyeshadow by L'Oreal.

Infallible 24 hour eye shadows really last 24hours.

They go on creamy and set into a powder finish.

It never smears, creases, or travels

and can't even be rubbed off accidentally.

All the colors are beautiful!

I am a mommy on the go and it's hard to keep my

 eyeshadow bright and fresh all day,

but Infallible eye color was a sweet surprise I'm glad I tried.

I love the new trend of

 Home Manis.

I think the last few years of recession

has brought on a new fashion trend

that caters to the creative heart.

Everywhere I go I see ladies sporting polka dots,

sparkles, neons, reverse french tips,

details, prints, and shatter. 

I love seeing a woman stop another 

woman to ask her about her home mani.

I love the interaction.

I love the self expression.

I even stopped the girl at the drive through of my favorite

 Mexican food restaurant to examine her polka dot nail tips.

Sally Hansen's Salon Effects

nail polish strips get a Kitsch A+

They last for almost 2 weeks

and have the most adorable patterns.

I put the "Misbehaved" pattern on my fingernails

and one on each of my big toes

(painting the other toenails black). 

I also bought the zebra print called 

"Wild Child" and "Laced Up".

  I am also loving all this nail

SHATTER!

I love the color combinations of black with bolds or pastels.

But my favorite combo, by far is, the black/white combo!

I like the throw back 80's vibe. 

I love the irreverence.

I think its trashy classy and I love it!

I give the OPI Black Shatter an A.

 Another trend, I love, that you should try at home,

is Chanel's new perfectly pale yellow in

Mimosa. 

The whole line is delicious

and every girl should have

but because it is almost impossible

to find and over $30 a bottle.

 Straying slightly from the Home Mani theme

I have to add my favorite new polish hybrid

 by OPI called Axxium.

You have to receive this GEL nail polish treatment at the salon,

but it lasts FOREVER

and does minimal damage to your natural nail.

This isn't a gel acrylic ladies, it is a POLISH.

It requires a UV light and

professional application and removal,

plus cost between $25-$40,

so I give it a B.

But, I do add it in the Home Mani breed

because this polish allows you to do Mommy up GLAM!

Dishes and cleaning can't touch this stuff and

all your girlfriends will being asking you

about your fabulous manicure.

I was totally skeptical about this new product called

 Youth Code by L'Oreal.

I decided after hearing SO much hype I had to test drive it.

I got a bottle of the Intense Serum for about $23 at Walmart.

Honestly, after 2 days I saw a noticeable difference

 in my skins appearance.

My face looked smooth and bright.

After a week, my skin is more firm and hydrated.

It's fun to see a product actually work,

and work quickly.

I give this product an A

for living up to its hype

and  for outstanding performance

 at a minimal price.

Now, I wonder what it could do for my derriere?

I have kinda felt a little legging retarded.

Seriously.

I can't find legging that aren't cheap,

or sheer,

or have thin rolling elastic on the waist,

or that constantly give me a muffin top.

I found these beauties at Target.

mmm hmm.

For the last 8-9 years

I haven't bought any bras other than

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Push-up Bra.

It is awesome and SEXY.

But, it costs me $48 a bra.

Which is TOTALLY worth the price for a nice bra.

Seriously ladies YOU SHOULD splurge for a bra!!!

After a little nosing around

at theTarget lingerie department

I found this little beauty.

Target's Self Expression Push Up Bra.

Totally a knock-off of my little Vicky's number.

Same cup shape and padding.

Yep, $12.99!

At that price

it's deserving of a test drive.

I give it a B+

only because longevity has been compromised

with the lower quality materials used for this bra.

For those of us that have been

frequently changing bra sizes

 due to BABY makin'...

I love this bra because

it gets you through a lot

 of awkward bust sizes. 

I recommend that when you

finally arrive at your regular bust size

you invest again in your favorite Vicky's bra

 or hit up Nordy's to be sized

for a custom bra that will last much longer.

Had to try it.

The adds in the magazine's convinced me.

Maybelline's Color Sensational Lipstain

was actually pretty awesome.



Feelin' Rosy





Loved the color I purchased.

The tones seemed well balanced and on trend.

It wasn't thick or sticky.

Didn't leave my lips dry

or have a horrible taste/smell.

Overall I give it an A-

and the minus is only because I wish it lasted a little longer.

If you've been wanting to try a lipstain

I think this is a great one to try out.

The price is right and the colors are all easy to wear.
