Diva was the name of this dark berry lip color

I used for this shoot with Maria.

I have been dreaming about this shoot for awhile.

I saw Anne Hatheway's feature in Interview magazine

awhile back and fell in love with the dark romantic images.

Of course, Anne was wearing Chanel and Alexander Mcqueen,

but we made due with one of Maria's black corsets and

some black polka dot stocking I got at H+M.

Strobe Cream

The Mimes.

I LOVED this project!

The idea and inspiration came from the uber talented

 Tonya of Tonya Joy Photography.

She outsourced to me and I ran with it. 

She always has a super fun theme for her photo workshops

and this Circus theme was so fun and yet so beautiful. 

Strobe cream by MAC

is where I started with the mimes pale faces.

I mixed the Strobe Cream in with their foundation

and used a foundation a few shade lighter

 than their natural complexion. 

I only got away with it because

 the Strobe Cream leaves a

dewy mannequin like finish.

As For the black liner I used

MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack

with MAC brush #209

for a precision execution.

I just love the Fluidline

because it doesn't travel or smudge.
